FAQ: how I stay motivated

One question that has been sliding into my DMs lately is all about motivation.  Whether it to be at work or at home or personal, staying motivated isn’t always easy. While I struggle with staying focused, I do have a few tricks that I use to help keep my eye on the prize – whatever that may be. Today, I’m sharing what has worked for me – but please feel free to share your own techniques below! As those cuties in HS Musical would say, we are all in this together.

My Workouts

Sharing what has now become my workout routine! But, before you scroll straight to them, my FIRST TIP in starting any fitness journey is to do some research first. Don’t just go into a workout blindly, think about what you want to achieve and Google that shit. You’ll find out exercises will best help you achieve what YOU want and – more importantly – what exercises to avoid. This goes for cardio too. I was really into cycling for awhile and I just wasn’t seeing results – and then I went down a rabbit hole online and found out that my goals were going to be best met by just straight up running (which sucked to find out, but I noticed a difference immediately). In the end, these circuits were best for me – but do a quick search and make sure they work for YOU.

FAQ: my fitness tips

For those who don’t know, over the course of the last year or so I have lost over 30 pounds. It has been a lot of trial and error, but TBH I am super proud of all the progress I have made. I have gotten a lot of questions about my journey, but let me be the first to say – this isn’t a post about quick fixes or diet plans. That isn’t what worked for me. What kickstarted my healthier lifestyle was all about changing my habits and finding the right balance for my body.
